USHER IN THE SPRING WITH A DECORATIVE TOUCH
-- Proflowers Offers Exclusive New European Collection
--
SAN DIEGO, Calif - February 26, 2003 - This summer, add a little flair
to your décor. Proflowers, Inc., the largest direct-from-the-grower flower
provider in the U.S., today announced the availability of its exclusive European
collection of bouquets. The collection, which is comprised of nine bouquets
inspired by various European countries such as Scotland, England, Spain and
Italy, offers an intriguing combination of colors and flowers not usually seen
in the United States.
Whether entertaining or simply looking to spruce up a room, the bouquets in
Proflowers' European collection add a unique splash of color and ambiance to any
space. Each bouquet is arranged in signature European style - more compact and
shorter than the typical American bouquet - and showcases the flowers and color
schemes found in different regions. The "Scottish Highlands" bouquet, for
example, highlights the deep blues, purples and greens found on Scotland's
thistle-covered hilltops.
"We created this new collection to infuse some European culture into our
product line," said Bill Strauss, Proflowers' chief executive officer.
"Proflowers made this specialized style of bouquet available to our customers to
add a unique and striking touch to their décor."
